Q. How can you help someone get over the death of someone close?
A. People can get very stuck when they lose a loved one. They can also feel all sorts of emotions such as guilt, anger and depression. By releasing these emotions gently using Thought Field Therapy or The Sedona Method, the memories will become more positive and happy. From here you can then let go of the past and move on with your life. This article may help.

Q. I'm going through a really tough divorce. Can you help me?
A. Yes, in a number of different ways. I can work with you to release any negative feelings such as rejection, anger and frustration you may be feeling. With these out of the way, you will make the best decisions for you and feel good about them too. You may also want to consider coaching as this will help you adjust to the change you are experiencing.

Q. I feel so much hate for what my husband has done to me, I just can't stop thinking about it. How can I get over this?
A. It sounds like you've hit a block and you're now going round in circles with it. By releasing feelings such as anger and hate, you will be able to let go and move on with your life. The Sedona Method and Thought Field Therapy are both great treatments for this. Read this article for further clarification.

Q. My boss is making my life a misery, but I don't know what to do about it.
A. You may be feeling a number of emotions such as fear, anxiety, stress and anger. All of these will get in the way of you finding the solution that's right for you. It's amazing how clear things become when your head isn't in emotional turmoil. Thought Field Therapy and The Sedona Method are great for releasing negative emotion.

Q. I've always been really afraid of spiders. Do your treatments really work?
A. Yes, they do! I have treated many, many people for fears/phobias of spiders. This is the fastest and gentlest treatment for phobias I have ever come across.

Q. I've seen Paul McKenna do some tapping. Is it anything to do with hypnosis?
A. Paul McKenna does use Thought Field Therapy (TFT) in conjunction with other treatments like hypnosis. However, TFT is nothing to do with hypnosis. TFT just requires you to think of the problem and then gently tap various meridian points which release the negative emotion leaving you feeling calm and relaxed.

Q. I've hear TFT can work for physical pain too. Is that true?
A. Yes, TFT can work very well on physical pain and The Sedona Method can help too. I've worked with people on things like long-term back pain, ear-ache, tooth abscess and no end of aches and pains! It works by releasing the memory of the initial pain and the expectation of having it again. It also give the body the right 'nudges' to heal itself.
Q. Can your methods really help with insomnia?
A. Yes unless it's a physical condition which in the majority of cases it isn't. Insomnia or disturbed sleep patterns are great examples of your mind working against you. It gets caught in a loop and then sleeplessness becomes the new behaviour. TFT and The Sedona Method dissolve the blocks and thoughts that keep your mind so active at night leaving you at peace to get the rest you need.

Q. What do people use coaching for?
A. Many different things! People come for coaching when they want to change something. This could be anything from work, career, relationships, health, direction - anything really. I work with a number of small business owners who also use coaching as a valuable sounding board - a place where they can explore options without being judged or criticised.

Q. How is coaching different to counselling?
A. In general terms, counselling tends to look at your past, exploring experiences that are having a negative effect on you now. Coaching is more about looking at where you are now vs where you want to be and finding the best route for you to get there. However, I can cover most counselling type issues with Thought Field Therapy and The Sedona Method.

Q. How does email coaching work?
A. Rather than have a verbal dialogue with me, you have a written one instead. This can be great for people who can't commit to weekly sessions or who may be away a lot. It also has another benefit in that by using email, you have a log of what's discussed which can be reflected back on to see how far you've come and what you've achieved.

Q. What if I want to work on something other than my beliefs?
A. You can work on whatever you like. During your first session we discuss what you'd like to achieve and then work towards that. However, we will check out your self-beliefs at some point, as these will dictate whether you are able to achieve this or not. This is because your actions will always come into line with your beliefs.

Q. How can this work by telephone?
A. As easily as it does face-to-face! The Sedona Method and Self-Belief Coaching just require verbal communication. I describe the places to tap when doing Thought Field Therapy. I also have a digital camera for use with MSN Messenger for people who have access to the internet and a telephone line at the same time.

Q. How long is the treatment?
A. For something simple, it can be as little as just one session (an hour). For fear there is a set course of up to three hour's treatment, and for more complex problems you should consider an initial course of three sessions. Allow three months for Self-Belief Coaching at which point we review progress.
